Hello Sleigh Ride Enthusiast!

A Severe Weather Notifications have been posted for this weekend - 12/9-12/12. The Storm Watch is for Greater Lake Tahoe Area with strong Winds & heavy Snowfall. In my book, temperatures in the 20s & 30s confirms. How much SNOW you might ask will depends on the dance in the Pacific between the High & Low pressures. Who leads? We will have to watch & see how this Atmospheric Tango develops.

Remember lots of Wind & Snow = bad roads & traveling conditions! Dangerous road conditions will cause us to close our locations without much notice.

Our plan is to OPEN- Friday 12/8 we will open both locations from 11am - 3pm. prices are posted on our web-site under the each activities. All of our tours are on wheels.

South Lake Tahoe offering City Tours (4130 Lake Tahoe Blvd. & Stateline Ave.) on a 1st Come; 1st Service basis. I am not expecting longer that a 30 minute wait.

The Scenic Tours at Sand Harbor Visitors Center (Nevada State Park off why 28) will welcome our prebooked reservations and also offer to last minute visitors the same tours on a 1st Come; 1st Service basis. Wait time is expected to be the same.

What does 1st Come; 1st Service mean?

We have had prebooked reservations for many months, and those Reservations who arrive on time will advance in line at their designated time. Yet every year many more visitors learn about our amazing Horse-Drawn activities last minute. They are equally excited to enjoy a Step-Back-in-Time experience with their families during the Holiday Season. We plan for this and have additional carriages & sleighs available to accommodate the crowds. Our crew is working extra hours, during these festive times to create those special memories for You & Yours. Be patient & courteous. We are doing our best!

A word of Advice - Don’t get too caught up in your preconceived version of a ‘Hallmark’ Sleigh Ride. Yes, A Sleigh ride on Snow is Magical!! And if the conditions are perfect & your heart is in the right place, we will do our best to create ‘The Magic’! Our horse-drawn tours are a Wonderful Activity with Spectacular Views that you can enjoy those You Love… and if the Sleigh is on Wheels on paved trails, or Skids on the same trail on Snow, those ‘Memories of a Lifetime’ are up to you… Enjoy the Moment!!
